|Description||Chanticleer/Woodside [21-490] Boyce Quad - 2 story 3 bay stucco house with 1/5 story log cabin attached to LH side. Logs section supposedly original part of house & stucco house added mid-19th century. Not to be confused with the Van Meter home, Woodside Dairy. Vol 4 indexes it under Woodside and says built c 1910 by Charles A. Jones of Walnut Hall.. The log cabin wing, which was used as a school by Mrs. Gerty Watkins before it was moved, was added by W.B. Watkins Jr. who renamed the house Chanticleer. Rt 620|
